+# Behinderung und Gesellschaft
+
+Mit dem Begriff der Behinderung bin ich in unserem Sprachgebrauch aktuell nicht einverstanden. Wenn wir sagen, ein Mensch "ist" behindert, so geben wir zu diesem Menschen eine Bewertung ab. Wir bilden damit eine Klassifikation. Wir benennen diese Menschen aus unserer Masse, unserer Gesellschaft heraus (nach [@guemuesay2020]) als "behindert".
+
+Dadurch packen wir sie in mentale Käfige und grenzen diese Menschen von anderen alleine durch die bewertende Benennung ("Du bist behindert") aus und ab. Entscheidend ist für mich dabei vor allem das Wort "ist".  Wir können auf die Bewertung des Individuums verzichten und das "ist" durch ein "wird" ersetzen: "ein Mensch wird behindert". Behinderte Menschen sind nicht behindert, sie werden behindert!
+
+Ich bewerte den einzelnen Menschen damit nicht. Ich klassifiziere diesen Menschen damit nicht. Vielmehr sage ich damit, dass Menschen wegen ihrer Individualität von unserer Gesellschaft behindert werden. Ihre Eigenheiten und individuellen Bedürfnisse finden in unserer Gesellschaft keine, oder keine ausreichende Unterstützung. Unsere Gesellschaft ist nicht auf "Individualität" ausgerichtet, sondern auf "Normierung" und "Konformität". Wer nicht in diese Norm passt wird u.A. heute als behindert gewertet.

+Meiner Meinung nach sollten wir eher unsere Gesellschaft bewerten als die einzelnen Menschen! Wenn wir unsere Einstellung, unsere Glaubenssätze hier anpassen können und uns eine Gesellschaft vorstellen können, die die Individualität von Menschen nicht bewertet sondern alle gleichberechtigt mit einschließt und unterstützt, dann können wir diese vielleicht auch ändern. Wäre das nicht toll ...

+# Grundlagen der Sprache und der Kommunikation
+
+Seit einiger Zeit beschäftige ich mich sehr intensiv mit dem Thema Kommunikation. Es ist ein sehr wesentlicher Baustein unseres Beziehungslebens. Ich habe mir viele Gedanken dazu gemacht, wo bestimmte Glaubenssätze und Einordnungen und Normen in unserer Gesellschaft entstanden sind. Dazu gibt es viele Bücher, die sich u.a. mit den gesellschaftlichen Normen auseinandersetzen und diese auch in Frage stellen. (siehe z.B. [@simon2021] oder auch [@hardy2020] und [@karig2018]). Hier wird viel auf die gesellschaftlichen Normen geschaut und diese werden auch in Frage gestellt und diskutiert.

+Aber erst im Buch [@guemuesay2020] wurde ich auf die wesentlichen und grundlegenden Aspekte aufmerksam, die zu einer entsprechenden Kategorisierung von Beziehungsmustern und Lebensmodellen (und noch viel mehr) führen. Es ist die Sprache der Masse, welche die Realität und die Normen, bzw. Kategorien schafft und es zum Teil sehr schwer macht, außerhalb des Erlebens dieser Masse Beziehungen (und auch vieles andere) zu denken und zu benennen.
+
+Grundlegend beschreibt und benennen wir mit Sprache unsere Wahrnehmung. Aber nur, wenn die Sprache mächtig genug ist, können wir das Wahrgenommene auch benennen. Daraus folgt auch, das, wenn ich etwas benennen kann, ich dieses auch besser wahrnehmen kann.
+
+Sprache ist der Stoff, aus dem unser Denken (und damit auch unser Handeln, siehe auch [@robbins2017a]) geformt wird, ohne das wir uns ggf. der Grenzen der Sprache bewusst sind. Wir betrachten die Welt durch einen eingeschränkten Blickwinkel auf Sprache und es ist wichtig, sich der Existenz solcher Grenzen bewusst zu machen, um sich vor starren Prämissen, Grundannahmen und Glaubenssätzen (siehe [@karig2018] und [@imlau2022]) zu schützen. „Das Bewusstsein für Grenzen relativiert die Dinge, die wir ignorant voraussetzen. Die Dinge, die wir als universal postulieren definieren sie doch nichts mehr als die Grenzen unseres Horizonts."
+
+Sprache wird von unbenannten Benennenden geformt und kuratiert (die Masse). Sie besitzen die Macht andere Menschen und auch Themen zu benennen und somit zu expliziten, besonderen zu machen. Damit üben die Benennenden die Macht über das Benannte aus! Dieses kann sich z.B. auch in entsprechend benannte Lebensmodelle etablieren, die von den Benennenden als Norm oder als Ausgrenzung genutzt werden können. Es kommt zu einer Klassifikation der benannten Lebensmodelle.  
+Wenn die Benannten oder das Benannte nicht mehr genau zu ihrer Kategorie passen, dann merken sie/diese die Grenzen der Käfige, die durch die Definition mit Sprache geschaffen wurden. Sie merken die Ablehnung der Unbenannten Benennenden, die sie nicht mehr einfach benennen (kategorisieren) können. 
+Im Kontext von Beziehungsmodellen kann das z.B. bedeuten, dass es zu Ausgrenzungen und Kategorisierungen von Menschen kommen kann, weil sie nicht nach der benannten Norm der benennenden Masse leben (wollen/können/möchten) (siehe auch [@simon2021] oder auch [@karig2018]).

+Neue, außerhalb der Erfahrung der Masse liegende Lebensmodelle führen somit in Teilen der Gesellschaft Ablehnung und Unverständnis. Kategorien und partikuläre Sichten der Benennenden werden in Sprache etabliert, indem Begriffe wie „universell“, "neutral", „rational“ und/oder „objektiv" verwendet werden. Somit werden aus eigentlich individuellen Perspektiven vermeintlich „universelle“ Einsichten, die in einer Gesellschaft verfestigt werden (böswillig könnten das auch Vorurteile sein).
+
+Wir Menschen brauchen in der Kommunikation allerdings Kategorien um über die Welt sprechen zu können. Die Welt braucht sie nicht! [@guemuesay2020].
+Kategorien werden dann zu Käfigen, wenn sie mit einem Absolutheitsglauben als universell und vollständig betrachtet werden und wir uns bei der Schaffung der Kategorien nicht unserer limitierten Sichtweise bewusst sind! Dieser Anspruch führt zu Ideologien und entsprechenden Kulturen, die daraus Macht ableiten und über die Kategorisierung legitimieren! Wir alle halfen dann diese Kategorien für Umfassend, weil wir in eine entsprechende Kultur hinein geboren worden und uns diese Kategorisierungen als universal erzogen werden (siehe Glaubenssätze [@imlau2022]). Wir werden uns dann der Grenzen nicht mehr bewusst!
+
+Gerade im Kontext von Lebensmodellen (aber bei weitem nicht nur da; z.B. auch bei Rassismus ist das ein ganz wesentliches Thema) führt dieses in der Kommunikation der Masse zu Ablehnung von neuen Ideen von Lebensmodellen jenseits der Monogamie (wie bereits oben genannt).
+
+Um das zu Ändern ist es wichtig, zu erkennen, dass das Aufzeigen unser aller Begrenztheit durch unsere Sprache nicht als Angriff gewertet wird, sondern von allen Menschen erstrebenswert ist, sich dieser Grenzen bewusst zu werden, um sie überwinden zu können! [@guemuesay2020].
+Objektivität gibt es nicht, können nur Näherungen auf Basis vieler Perspektiven geschaffen werden. Hierzu ist es notwendig, das freie Sprechen zu ermöglichen und in der Gesellschaft auch durchzusetzen. Freies Sprechen setzt die eigene Existenz ungefragt voraus. Es muss sich nicht erklärt oder verteidigt werden. Wenn wir nicht mehr mit den Augen "anderer auf uns selbst blicken, dann sind wir frei".
+Wir werden erst alle frei sein, wenn wir uns vom Absolut-Anspruch unserer Perspektive verabschieden und keine Perspektive steht über einer anderen.
+
+Damit andere Lebensmodelle in der Gesellschaft akzeptiert und auch integriert werden, ist es notwendig, dieses freie Sprechen über Lebensmodelle (und auch über vieles andere) als Standard zu etablieren. Leider ist unsere Gesellschaft noch weit von so einem Ideal entfernt.
+
+Wieso haben so viele Menschen denn Angst und fühlen vielleicht auch Hass gegenüber dem Neuen und vielleicht auch Unbekannten?
+Hass und Angst wird durch Entmenschlichung möglich, die durch rohe Sprache erzeugt werden kann, aber auch durch Abstraktion von Menschengruppen hinter der einzelne Menschen verschwinden. Diese Abstraktion erfolgt durch Kategorien (siehe [@guemuesay2020])! 
+
+Kennen wir den Menschen als Individuum, so können wir diesen nicht mehr abstrahieren. Wir können Menschen, die wir kennen, nicht mehr nicht sehen. Wir haben Angst vor dem Neuen und Unbekannten, was uns daran hindert, unsere Sprache zu erweitern, bzw. Neues in die Sprache aufzunehmen. Damit manifestieren wir unsere Grenzen und beschneiden unsere Möglichkeiten, Neues zu erleben und zu kommunizieren.
+
+Vielleicht ist es auch deswegen so schwer über Liebe, Sex, Polyamorie und andere Themen zu sprechen, da wir durch die Kategorisierung Ausgrenzungen vornehmen oder auch mangels Erfahrung und mangels sprachlicher Möglichkeiten jedes Einzelnen, bzw. dessen Perspektiven zu eingeschränkt sind. Dadurch schaffen wir durch Sprache eine in Teilen eben nicht wertschätzende Kommunikation über das Anders sein, was bereits eine Ausgrenzung darstellt.

+Je besser wir nach außen kommunizieren können, unsere Wünsche, Visionen, Gedanken, Ideen und Gefühle wir kommunizieren können, desto erfolgreicher werden wir (hierzu ist natürlich auch wieder Sprache notwendig). Dadurch steigert sich auch das innere Gefühl, Erfolg zu haben und äußert sich in Form von Glück, Freude und Begeisterung. Diese Gefühle sind ein Resultat, wie ich die Ergebnisse der äußeren Kommunikation im Inneren wahrnehme und sie mir dort in Form von innerer Kommunikation manifestiere.
+Ich schaffe mir die Realität durch Kommunikation, durch Sprache. Hier wird der Bogen zu [@guemuesay2020] gespannt, in der ebenfalls postuliert wird, wenn auch auf anderen Ebenen, Sprache schafft Realität.

+# Grundlegendes zum Thema Wohlbefinden
+
+Seit einigen Jahren nun schon bilde ich mich vielfältig weiter im Kontext von Selbstwert, Beziehungen und Kommunikation. Hierzu gibt es sehr viele, sehr gute Coachings, Literatur, Videos, Kurse, etc. . 
+
+In meiner Wahrnehmung habe ich aber festgestellt, dass viele dieser Beratungs-Angebote häufig sehr spezielle Themen anreißen, wie z.B. "Inneres Kind" (siehe [@asano2023a]), Grenzen setzen (siehe [@imlau2022]), Bedürfnisse (siehe [@simon2021]) oder auch div. Kommunikationsthemen. Vieles davon ist sehr wichtig und gut.
+
+Bei genauerer Betrachtung der ganzen Themen und der dazugehörigen Literatur habe ich für mich herausgefunden, dass sie sich vielfach in ihren Kernaussagen unterstützen und häufig dieselbe Aussage mit Hilfe anderer Perspektiven zum Ausdruck gebracht werden.
+
+Z.B. sind die "inneren Kind" Themen sehr ähnlich denen, die mit Kränkungen einher gehen oder was die Bedürfnis-Erfüllung, bzw. deren Nicht-Erfüllung angeht. Auch das Thema Kommunikation von Bedürfnissen und dem Setzen von Grenzen liegt eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit inne. Hierzu finden sich auch noch viel mehr Querbezüge zwischen den verschiedenen Themengebieten.
+
+Als Quintessenz aus dem Ganzen habe ich für mich inzwischen folgendes raus gezogen (alle Punkte hängen inhärent miteinander zusammen):
+
+- Wir alle haben Bedürfnisse. Können wir diese Bedürfnisse nicht ausleben, geht es uns nicht gut. Warum können wir Bedürfnisse ggf. nicht ausleben?
+	- Wir schränken uns selber ein, was das Ausleben der Bedürfnisse angeht, z.B. über Glaubenssätze ([@karig2018]), die uns ggf. mental vorschreiben, dass bestimmte Bedürfnisse in der Gesellschaft nicht akzeptiert werden (manchmal ist das auch gut! z.B. bei Verbrechen, die wir in der Gesellschaft nicht akzeptieren, oder wenn das Ausleben von Bedürfnissen andere gefährdet).
+	- Wir können unsere Bedürfnisse nicht kommunizieren, weil wir vielleicht Angst haben, wie andere auf unsere Wünsche, Gefühle und Bedürfnisse reagieren, oder uns schlicht das Vokabular fehlt, uns auszudrücken ([@simon2021]).
+	- Unsere Bedürfnisse, z.B. nach Zugehörigkeit, werden von Außen bedroht. Dadurch reduziert sich häufig unser Selbstwertgefühl, siehe [@metzger2025].
+      
+- Wir sollten unser Selbstwertgefühl stärken:
+	- Je weniger Selbstwert, desto schlechter oder negativer sehe ich die Welt. Je mehr Selbstwert ich habe, desto positiver sehe ich die Welt. Hieraus ergibt sich auch die Wichtigkeit, uns die positiven Ereignisse deutlich zu vergegenwärtigen (z.B. durch Positiv-Listen), damit wir mehr Selbstwert aufbauen. (siehe [@metzger2025])
+	- Meine perönliche Meinung: Je höher das Selbstwertgefühl ist, desto selbstsicherer werde ich und kann vieles auch besser für mich entscheiden
+		- Ich kann Glaubensätze mit mehr Selbstsicherheit und Selbstverständnis hinterfragen und somit ggf. besser meine Bedürfnisse ausleben, wenn sie nicht durch Glaubenssätze blockiert werden.
+		- Ich kann meine Bedürfnisse mit mehr Sicherheit kommunizieren.
+          
+- Wir sollten lernen, uns besser und auch klarer auszudrücken:
+	- Wenn wir selber nicht verletzt werden wollen, sollten wir in unserer Kommunikation darauf achten, andere ebenfalls nicht zu verletzen. Wir sollten achtsamer kommunizieren (siehe [@simon2021] und [@imlau2022]).
+	- Wir sollten ein grundlegendes Verständnis für Sprache aufbauen um zu verstehen, was können wir kommunizieren, wo sind unsere Grenzen der Kommunikation, welchen Einfluss auf unsere Wahrnehmung und auf unsere Ängste hat das (siehe [@guemuesay2020]).
+	- Wenn wir unsere Bedürfnisse, Gefühle und Wahrnehmungen kommunizieren können, können wir diese ggf. auch viel besser ausleben [@simon2021]. Das lässt uns wieder besser fühlen (siehe oben). Ich erlebe vielleicht mehr Positives und steigere dadurch wieder mein Selbstwertgefühl.

+Im Wesentlichen lässt es sich zusammenfassen, wie es auch schon die Fantastischen 4 getan haben: "Ich denke also bin ich, denk ich positiv gewinn ich" (Die Fantastischen Vier: "Lass die Sonne rein").

+## Die Story von Thomas

+Es gab tatsächlich mal eine Zeit, bevor ich Eure Mutter Ines kennen gelernt hatte. 
+
+Ganz vorne fange ich jetzt nicht an, also auch ich wurde geboren, ging zu Schule, machte eine Ausbildung, ging studieren und war gerade mitten am Schreiben meiner Doktorarbeit, als meine damalige Freundin mich betrogen hat. Und das war echt nicht nett. Ehrlich gesagt fand ich das damals richtig mies und ich war wirklich für eine kurze Zeit sehr eifersüchtig. Sie lid schon lange an Depression, aber als wir uns kennen gelernt hatten, hatte sie eine tolle Hochphase. Wir haben uns echt geliebt und es war eine total schöne Zeit, aber mit den Jahren wurde ihre Depression immer schlimmer und ich habe ihr einen Platz bei einer Kur verschafft, was, wie ihr sicher wisst, auch nicht leicht ist. Und wie es sich für eine richtige Kur gehörte, hatte sie sehr schnell einen Kurschatten kennen gelernt. Ich hab mich damals echt verarscht gefühlt. Ich organisiere das alles und sie hat nichts besseres zu tun, als mich dann mit jemand anderen zu betrügen. Zumindest war das damals meine Meinung. Heute bewerte ich das etwas differenzierter, aber das ist ein anderes Buch. Auf jeden Fall war ich dann sehr sauer auf sie und hatte so richtig die Nase voll von Frauen und Beziehungen.
+
+Hier vielleicht noch eine kurze Zwischenbemerkung: Ich Ende 1999 mit meinem Diplom fertig und bin zum Arbeiten erst mal mit meinem Kumpel Norman nach Hamburg gegangen. In der ersten Zeit bin ich von Bremen aus gependelt, bis ich in Hamburg eine Wohnung gefunden hatte. In der Zeit pendelte auch Ines und ich bin mir auch sicher, dass ich sie am Bahnsteig gesehen habe, aber wir haben da nie miteinander gesprochen. Es waren in der Regel auch immer die selben Leute, die dort morgens auf den Zug gewartet haben. Und ich war zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch mit einer anderen Freundin zusammen. Sie hat es mir später in der Tat mal bestätigt, dass wir uns eigentlich schon da das erste Mal gesehen haben.
+
+Ich richtete mir dann Anfang 2006 mein Leben neu ein. Hab mich in meinem Haus ganz wohl gefühlt, obwohl es zwischen Gitarren und Büchern doch eher wie eine Studentenbude aussah, was es bei genauerer Betrachtung ja auch war. Mit neuer Band und einigen Auftritten, wie auch beruflich und auch sonst ging es mir in Walle auch ohne Beziehung sehr gut und eigentlich hatte ich nicht so schnell vor, diesen Zustand zu ändern ...
+
+*Erstens kommt es anders und zweitens als man denkt*[^1]. Zu dieser Zeit begab es sich, dass mein Freund Michael aus Osnabrück massiv Stress hatte und er, nachdem sich seine Freundin damals ganz unschön von ihm getrennt hatte, mich fragte, ob er mich mal in Bremen besuchen könnte. Er müsste mal raus. 
+
+### Samstag der 15.07.2006
+Gesagt, getan. Michael kam am zu mir zu Besuch und wir haben es uns mit viel Bier und Pizza gut gehen lassen, haben Musik gemacht und sind dann rüber in meine Stammkneipe, dem Hart Backbord, welches an diesem Abend ihr 25 jähriges Jubiläum mit viel Freibier gefeiert hat. Dort haben wir noch einige Kumpels getroffen und gefeiert. Allerdings dachte ich so bei mir, wenn Michael extra aus Osnabrück nach Bremen fährt, dann sollten wir doch mehr machen als einfach nur in der Kneipe zu sitzen. Da Michael eher Rockmusik mag, haben wir beschlossen, ins Shagal zu gehen. Eine Disco in Bahnhofsnähe. Dort wurde an diesem Abend auch sehr harte Musik gespielt und wir hatten da viel Spaß …

+### Shagal
+Im Shagal haben wir dann natürlich noch weiter getrunken und wir wurden dann auch immer ausgelassener und feierten recht ordentlich. Mitten in der Nacht wurde dann ein doch recht hartes Lied gespielt, an dessen Titel und Interpret ich mich leider nicht mehr erinnern kann. Aber bei diesem Lied war ich auf der Tanzfläche und es war recht hart. Ich wr gut drauf und es wurde wild gesprungen und dabei hab ich wohl nicht so recht aufgepasst, was um mich rum so passiert. Ich hab dann zu einem neuen Sprung angesetzt und dabei übersehen, dass gerade jemand über mir war und so kam es, wie es kommen musste und ich sprang dieser Person mit meiner Schulter direkt gegen den Unterkiefer. Die junge Dame hielt sich den Mund und war auch echt irgendwie sauer und verließ schnell die Tanzfläche. Ich selber hatte dann auch ein schlechtes Gewissen bekommen und fing an nach ihr zu suchen um zu schauen, ob alles in Ordnung ist.
+
+Ich hab sie dann tatsächlich schnell gefunden und gefragt, ob alles OK ist. Sie war schon recht sauer. Als sie dann fragte, ob mein Haar wirklich blond sei, war ich überzeugt, dass alles gut war. Sie gefiel mir auch sofort und ich hatte bei ihr ein unbestimmtes gutes Gefühl.
+
+So kamen wir damals ins Gespräch und sie stellte sich als Ines vor. Ein wichtiger Moment war dann, als sie von de Bremer Aufbaubank sprach und ich punkten konnte indem ich sagte, dass ich die Bank tatsächlich kenne[^2]. Wobei *kennen* eher wage war. Ich kannte sie ganz grob, weil ich in der Uni unter anderem Anträge für Projektfinanzierungen geschrieben hatte und die Bremer Aufbaubank auch Fördergelder bereit stellte (ok, langweiliges Thema, also zurück ins Shagal).
+
+Wir haben uns dann den ganzen Abend super unterhalten und Michael hab ich dann schon fast vergessen. Zum Glück war ich so schlau und hab ihr meine Uni- Visitenkarte gegeben. Schweren Herzen musste ich dann wieder los. Um fünf sind Michael und ich dann nach Hause und um Neun stand ich wieder im Proberaum, weil ich mit der Band verabredet war, den Sonntag aufzunehmen und da ich neben meinem Job als Gitarrist auch für die Produktion verantwortlich war, musste ich noch ein wenig früher da sein, um alles aufzubauen und einzurichten. Michael ist dann tatsächlich mit dem Auto zurück nach Osnabrück gefahren und ich hatte ein wenig ein schlechtes Gewissen. Zum einen, weil eher doch eher mit zu viel Alkohol im Blut Auto gefahren ist und zum anderen, weil ich den Abend in der Disco mich fast nur mit Ines unterhalten habe und ihn dabei fast vergessen. Ich meine, was ist das für eine Aktion. Mein Freund kommt extra aus Osnabrück nach Bremen um sich von seiner Trennung abzulenken und ich hab nichts besseres zu tun, als zu flirten …

+### Strandbar
+Sonntag hab ich dann den ganzen tag noch drauf gewartet, was von ihr zu hören aber es kam nix. Naja, ich war noch nie der Geduldigste. Aber es geschehen noch Zeichen und Wunder und so geschah es auch bei uns, dass wir uns gleich zu Beginn der Woche Mails geschrieben haben und ich war so frech[^3], zu fragen, ob wir uns mal verabreden wollen und tatsächlich war Ines nicht abgeneigt. So haben wir uns dann für den Mittwoch verabredet und uns nach der Arbeit auf dem Marktplatz in Bremen getroffen. Gemeinsam sind wir dann zur Strandbar an der Stefaniebrücke runter gegangen und haben uns dort in den Sand gesetzt, welcher extra dort für die Bar aufgefahren wurde. Leider gab es die Strandbar nur das eine Jahr dort an der Stefaniebrücke, aber ich schweife ab…

+Wir unterhielten uns den ganzen Abend lang sehr angeregt und sie wurde mir auch immer sympathischer. Leider hat sie mir dann erzählt, dass sie im Schnoor mit ihrem Freund zusammen wohnt[^4]. Da war ich dann doch ein wenig enttäuscht, wobei ich ja auch eigentlich gar keine neue Beziehung wollte, nachdem die letzte so blöd endete. Aber wie das Schicksal zu spielt wurden wir beide uns immer sympatischer und ich hab mich so richtig wohl mit ihr gefühlt. Es wurde immer später, kälter und dunkler und so kam es, dass wir uns dann Arm in Arm wiedergefunden haben. Dann haben wir uns endlich nach anfänglichen Zögern geküsst und das war super. Ich war von da an, wie auf Wolke sieben. Das haben wir dann die ganze Nacht so weiter gemacht und ich hatte ein total tolles Verliebtheitsgefühl und war super glücklich[^5]. Irgendwann hab ich sie dann nach Hause gebracht und wir haben uns mit einem Kuss verabschiedet. Ich saß dann noch bei mir zuhause im Hof und hab noch ein Bier getrunken. An Schlafen war nicht zu denken und der nächste Tag auf der Arbeit war auch nicht so sonderlich produktiv, aber ich war sehr glücklich…

+### Das Viertel
+Nach der Strandbar haben wir uns erst mal fast zwei Wochen nicht mehr gesehen. Das Wochenende drauf war ich mit der Volleyball-Mannschaft in Dangast auf einem Tunier, was aber wegen schlecht Wetter fast ausgefallen wäre. 
+
+Ich hatte dann tasächlich eine Zeitlang geglaubt, ich hätte das nur geträumt. So toll kam mir das vor und gleichzeitig hatte ich eine latente Angst, dass das alles gar nicht wahr wäre oder Ines sich dann doch noch anders entscheiden würde. Aber dann haben wir uns doch wieder getroffen und alles war super. Wir waren echt total ineinander verliebt.
+
+Etwas später ist Ines dann noch aus dem Schnoor ausgezogen. Sie hatte dann eine kleine Wohnung im Schnoor zur Untermiete. An ein paar Dinge kann ich mich dann auch noch erinnern. Wir haben da gekocht und im Radio lief *Gefühlsecht* und eine Frau sollte schätzen, wie lang der Schwanz von Long John Silver, einem Pornodarsteller ist. Sie sagen 1,40m! 
+
+Eines Abends sind wir im Shagal verabredet gewesen und haben uns vorher noch geliebt in dieser Wohnung. Als wir dann da ankamen waren auch ein paar Freunde/Kollegeg:innen von Ines da. Die waren allerdings schon so betrunken, dass sie der deutschen Sprache schon icht mehr so mächtig waren.
+
+Wir haben uns auch in meinem Haus in Walle getroffen und ich erinnere mich noch an einen Abend, wo sie mich besuchen kam und ich noch in das Hart Backbord zum Stammtisch mit meinen Freunden wollte. Ihr erinnert Euch sicher noch vom Anfang der Geschichte. Ich hab mich dort jede Woche mit meinen Freunden aus dem Studium getroffen. Später kamen dann auch noch mehr Leute dazu. Naja, Ines hatte vor diesem Laden irgendwie eine heiden Angst. Sie dachte, da gehen nur Punks hin oder andere obskure Personen und sie wollte so gar nicht in diesen Laden rein. Aber ich konnte sie dann doch überreden und wir sind rein. Sofort hat sie einen guten Freund Ivel getroffen und dann später noch andere Menschen, die sie kannte und danach war das Eis gebrochen und wir sollten noch sehr oft ins Hart Backbord gehen[^6].

+Danach ist sie zu Untermiete in eine andere Wohnung im Viertel gezogen. Da haben wir uns dann auch häufiger getroffen. Es war eine echt sehr tolle Zeit. Ein paar sehr schöne, aber nicht jugendfreie Erinnerungen hab ich schon an diese Zeit.
+
+An viele Details erinnere ich mich leider nicht mehr so genau aber es gibt mir ein schönes Gefühl, wenn ich dann darüber nachdenke.
+
+### Ihre eigene Wohnung
+Nach einiger Zeit wurde ihre Wohnung an der Contrescarpe frei. Das muss so Anfang 2007 gewesen sein. Sie hatte diese Wohnung mit ihrem Exfreund Christian vor Jahren zusammen gekauft, erst selbst darin gewohnt und sie dann, als sie ins Schnoor gezogen sind, vermietet haben.

+### Rügen
+Ich bin mir nicht mehr ganz sicher, aber ich glaube, das war unser erster gemeinsammer Urlaub zusammen. Ich war ein wenig skeptisch ob das gut geht, hatte aber dann doch viel Spaß gemacht. Ich glaube, wi waren in Sassnitz und danach noch ein paar Übernachtungen in Stralsund.
+In Sassnitz hat es fast die ganze Zeit geregnet, wir haben uns aber trotzdem alles Mögliche angeschaut. Unser erster Urlaub war ein schönes Erlebnis.
+
+### Schwerin
+In Schwerin waren wir eher zufällig, Eigentlich wollten wir ganz woanders hin und hatten uns vorher im Internet informiert. Mit dieses Infos sind wir dann nach Bremen zum Bahnhof in das Bahn-Reisebüro und wollten genau diese Reise buchen. Wir mussten allerdings feststellen, dass die Bahn im Internet und im Reisebüro zwei unterschiedliche Firmen waren und unser Angebot leider nicht verfügbar war. Deswegen hatten wir dann, weil wir schon mit Koffern am Bahnhof standen einfach das nächstbeste Angebot gebucht und das ging nach Schwerin.

+### Island
+Island war eine tolle Idee von Ines. Neben der tollen Insel mit all den Sehenswürdigkeiten, Gletschern, Vulkanen, etc.
+Ich kann mich noch gut an die Horde Schotten erinnern, die vom Shuttle-Bus nicht ins Hotel gebracht werden wollten, sondern direkt in die nächste Kneipe. Wir haben uns eh gefragt, was die Schotten da alle auf Island gemacht haben. Es stellte sich raus, dass in der Zeit, in der wird da waren Schottland gegen Island gespielt hat (Fussball; EM-Qualifikation). Wir haben uns da auch das Stadion angeschaut. Es gab da eine Holztribühne und es pasten ca. 9.000 Leute in das Stadion. War schon lustig.
+
+### Der erste Kinderwunsch
+Es war, wenn ich mich so richtig erinnere 2008/2009 als wir gemeinsam beschlossen haben, Eltern zu werden. Eigentlich wollte Ines nie Kinder, aber sie meinte, mit mir könne sie es sich gut vorstellen Mutter zu werden.
+Tatsächlich hat es dann auch sehr schnell geklappt und Ines wurde dann schwanger. Wir haben uns beide riesig gefreut und ich bin mit Ines zum ersten mal mit zum Frauenarzt zur einer der ersten Untersuchungen. Leider hat das Kind da schon keine Herztöne mehr von sich gegeben. Es war ein total verstörend und hat mit (und natürlich auch Ines) stark mitgenommen. Ich hab mich sehr auf den Termin gefreut und bin total traurig mit Ines dann nach hause. Wir haben uns dann noch zwei Wochen gegeben und haben fest daran geglaubt, dass das Kind noch einen Herzschlag bekommen würde, hat es aber leider nicht.
+Anschließend musste der Embryo dann medizinisch entfernt werden. Dazu musste Ines ins Krankenhaus und ich konnte nicht mitkommen. Ich hab Ines da im Stich gelassen. So eine Situation ist sehr schwer zu verarbeiten. Das hat uns beide ganz schön mitgenommen und wir haben länger darüber nachgedacht. Aber wir sind dann zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass wir es doch weiter versuchen wollen. In der Stadt sind uns dann immer die Frauen mit Kinderwagen aufgefallen, die plötzlich überall waren und uns dann leider auch immer daran erinnerten, dass es bei uns nicht geklappt hat. Wir haben dann noch viele verschieden Methoden, wie z.B. Temperaturmessungen und Bücher mit Terminen, etc. . Leider ist Ines dann lange nicht schwanger geworden. Als es dann endlich wieder geklappt hatte, haben wir das Kind auch sehr schnell wieder verloren. Ich weiß nach, dass wir an dem Abend im Waller Hafen auf einem Nena-Konzert waren, als Ines dann merkte dass die Regel wieder einsetzte.
+Wir haben es dann noch einmal mit künstlicher Befruchtung versucht, aber auch das hat nicht funktioniert (die Details, wie Samentest und Ornanieren lasse ich jetzt mal aus).
+Danach haben wir dann beschlossen, dass wir wohl kinderlos bleiben werden. Es kam dann natürlich doch anders.
+
+### Walle
+Ich wusste damals gar nicht, dass Ines mit meinem Freund Björn über die Liebe gesprochen hatte und Björn wohl so sinnbildlich meinte, wenn man nicht zusammen wohnt, liebt man sich wohl nicht richtig. Das muss so um 2010 rum gewesen sein. Eigentlich ging es uns total gut. Ines hatte ihre eigene Wohnung und ich wohnte in Walle in meinem Haus und wir haben uns in der Woche und am Wochenende immer *gedatet* und das hat auch viel Spaß gemacht. Aber nachdem sie mit Björn über dieses Thema gesprochen hatte, haben wir über das Zusammenziehen nachgedacht. Irgendwie war mir auch nicht ganz wohl damit, weil ich noch nie mit einer Partnerin zusammen gewohnt habe und auch Ines hatte nicht so den Drang nach Walle zu ziehen, weil es ihrer Meinung nach zu weit weg vom Zentrum war. Und in der Tat genoss Walle nicht den besten Ruf.
+
+Wir haben uns dann im Sommer 2010 dazu entschieden, dass Ines zuerst *auf Probe* bei mir einzieht. Es war eine tolle Zeit und sie lebte wirklich zusammen mit mir in einem Haus. 
+Ich kann mich noch an einen Abend erinnern, so gegen Mitternacht, als Ines meinte, sie würde gerne noch was essen gehen und ich sagte, einen Moment noch, ich möchte die Sendung im Fernsehn noch zuende schauen. Ines war sich sicher, dass dann kein Laden mehr auf hatte, aber es war kein Problem. Wir sind dann an die Ecke Elisabethstrasse, Waller Heerstrasse zu einem Türken gegangen, der auch um eins noch auf hatte und haben uns dort was zu essen bestellt. Zuerst waren wir die einzigen, aber dann wurde der Laden, der erst relativ neu aufgemacht hatte, schnell voll und wir sind da auch mit Leuten ins Gespräch gekommen. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht …
+Kurze Zeit später waren wir auf der Breminale und Ines wollte danach noch Wasser einkaufen gehen, da ihr eingefallen ist, dass wir keins mehr im Hause hatten. Nach der Breminale sind wir denn in Walle zu einem Kiosk gegangen (mitten in der Nacht) und dort haben wir noch was zu trinken bekommen, sind auch mit den Leuten ins Gespräch gekommen und sie haben uns dann sogar noch selbst gepflückte Johannisbeeren mitgegeben. Es war total nett. Es war irgendwie vergleichbar mit Urlaub im Süden. Wir sind viel mit den Leuten in Kontakt gekommen. Viele saßen in den Hauseingängen, die Kneipen und Restaurants waren toll und Walle war zum Glück bei weitem nicht so hipp wie das Viertel oder die Neustadt. Ines hat es dann doch sehr gefallen und sie ist dann wirklich in Walle in das Haus eingezogen …

+### Der Umbau
+Im Winter 2010-2011 war dann klar, das Ines bei mir in Walle einziehen wollte. Allerdings musste aus der Studentenwohnung ein echtes Heim werden. Wir haben dann zusammen Farben ausgesucht, Ines hatte eine Möbeltischlerei beauftragt und wir haben gemeinsam in langen Sessions das Haus dann so umgebaut, dass wir beide darin leben wollten. Das beste war ein neues Bett. Ich hab, glaube ich noch nie 3000€ für ein Bett ausgegeben, aber es hat sich gelohnt.
+Anfang 2011 war dann alles fertig und wir sind dann offiziell zusammen gezogen.
+
+### Die Hochzeit
+Eigentlich hatte ich nie vor zu heiraten. Ich war eigentlich immer der Meinung, dass die Liebe keine staatliche Verbindung benötigt. Da wir beide aber Kinderwunsch hatten und diesen auch in der Kinderwunsch-Klinik umsetzen wollten, mussten wir heiraten, um dann die Behandlungen von der Krankenkasse bezahlen zu lassen. OK, sehr romantisch, gebe ich zu. Ich hab Ines dann beim Bäcker Haferkamp in Walle gefragt, ob wir heiraten wollten. Sie hat dann auch tatsächlich sofort ja gesagt und schon waren wir verlobt.
+Eigentlich wollte ich die Hochzeit gerne einfach nur zu zweit feiern, aber Ines meinte zu recht, meine Mutter reißt mir den Kopf ab, wenn wir die Familien nicht zur Hochzeit einladen.
+Also haben wir uns den 15.07.2011 (Ihr könnt ja mal raten, warum) als Hochzeitstag ausgesucht und sind damit dann zum Standesamt.
+Als wir danach mal bei meinen Eltern waren, haben wir ihnen und Tante Hildegart da eine Einladung  zur Hochzeit überreicht. Hildegart fing dann gleich an zu weinen und meinte, ob wir wüssten, was das für ein Datum ist. In der Tat war ich darauf nicht vorbereitet. Es war das Hochzeitsdatum meiner Oma Olinde (väterlicherseits), die am 15.07.1944 geheirtatet hatte. Zufälle gibt es …
+Wir haben dann auch tatsächlich am 15.07.2011 geheiratet. Wir haben einen tollen Tag mit der Familie auf dem Standesamt und in der Feuerwache verbracht und dann waren wir zwei verheiratet. Es wurde auch lange zur Tradition, dass ich Ines jedes Jahr einen Straus Rosen aus dem Laden nebenan zum Hochzeitstag besorgt habe. Das ging so lange gut, bis der Laden leider geschlossen wurde (ich hab wohl zu wenig Blumen gekauft).
+
+### Der Rhodos Urlaub
+Einen wunderschönen Urlaub hatten Ines und ich im Sommer 2012 auf Rhodos. Viele Details des Urlaubes hab ich leider schon vergessen, aber ein Event ist mir im Gedächnis geblieben:
+
+Wir sind eines Tages, das Wetter war nicht zu gut, einen Hügel zu seiner Kapelle am Strand hochgeklettert. Auf halben Wege haben wir dann festgestellt, dass diese Kapelle auch einfach über die Strase erreichbar wr, aber wir sind den Berg zu Fuss hoch. Oben angekommen hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Mittelmeer. 
+In der Kapelle stand ein Schild, welches erklärte, dass die Frauen auf Rhodos in diese Kapelle pilgerten, wenn sie schwanger werden wollten. Sollten sie nach dem Besuch ein Kind bekommen, sollte es den Namen des Klosters tragen. Tsambika bei einem Mädchen und Tsambiko bei einem Jungen. Es klingt nach einer schönen Geschichte und auf der Insel heißen auch einige Menschen so. Aber geglaubt haben wir dass nicht.

+Nach dem Urlaub war Ines wirklich schwanger und das Kind hat durchgehalten…

+
+Thank you for contributing to the Pandoc Template Repository! In this document, we describe everything you need to know to successfully open your first PR. We will discuss some general guidelines, and describe the steps required to either modify an existing template, or adding another template.
+

+> This document defines the terms "layout," "template," and "reference doc" as such: A "layout" for the purposes of this document is, e.g., a `.tex` or `.html`-file that can be filled with content to produce a specific layout of text, but which is not compatible with Pandoc's template syntax. A `template` is this layout, but adapted so that Pandoc can use it as a template. A "reference doc" is a variation of the "template" for use with output formats of Pandoc that support reference docs instead of templates. Naturally, if you create a template for the intent purpose of using it with Pandoc, the "layout" and "template" are one and the same file.
+
+## General Guidelines
+
+The Pandoc Template Repository is intended for community-created and journal- or conference-provided templates that can be used to format Markdown documents (or anything that Pandoc can ingest) in a specific style. That being said, each template needs to follow some criteria:
+
+* It MUST be suitable for a somewhat larger audience. "Somewhat larger audience" SHOULD reference an academic field, a community of people, or any social context that is not defined by kinship. Whether your template fulfills this will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. If you design your own templates, and you believe other people may find them aesthetic, it is suited for this repository. It does not have to be a template for a conference or journal.
+* It SHOULD make liberal use of the Pandoc templating system to allow for more than one specific use-case, and ensure that end users can adapt the template to their own documents.
+* It MUST be usable as-is, that is, anything dynamic in the template is REQUIRED to be customizable via YAML frontmatter variables, and MUST NOT require the user to modify the template itself.
+* It SHOULD NOT require an internet connection to work, that is, all resources the template needs (except, e.g., packages from CTAN) SHOULD be present in the folder. Exceptions are discussed on a case-by-case basis (such as JavaScript libraries for HTML templates).
+* You MUST have the right to provide the resources for the template in this repository. If you are not certain (e.g., because you want to adapt a template which has no clearly visible license), it is your responsibility to research this fact, and reflect it appropriately.
+* The template SHOULD NOT be time-limited. However, some conferences have new templates each year. In these cases, the template is still suitable for this repository, since the conference itself is not strictly time-limited. Ideally, you SHOULD update an existing template, and denote the corresponding year for which the template is valid in description and/or name, instead of creating new templates each year.
+* The language used for the metadata is English. The template can be in a different language (e.g., Portuguese if it is aimed only at, say, Brazilian scholars), and the description MUST indicate this fact, but the metadata itself MUST be in English.
+* The template MUST NOT contain any profane language, or language not suitable for an audience below the age of 18. It MUST NOT be in any way legally objectionable in any country globally. You MUST follow common standards for what you can, and cannot write on the internet.
+
+These guidelines are subject to change as we encounter more questions and discussions about whether or not to include a particular template. If you cannot fulfill one or more of these guidelines, you can make a case for inclusion of your template anyways, which will be heard.
+
+### Creating New Templates
+
+Before creating a new template, you MUST make sure that the template does not yet exist in the repository. If the layout has been transformed into a template by someone else already, you MUST modify the template, instead of creating a new one.
+
+**Folder Name**: To create a new template, you MUST create a new folder in this repository. The folder name MUST reflect the template name and SHOULD be an abbreviation. It MUST be an abbreviation if the name is very long. It is RECOMMENDED to use a template provider's "official" abbreviation where available. (Example: The journal "Network Science" abbreviates itself "nws".) The folder name MUST consist of digits, English alphabet letters, and hyphens (a-z0-9-), and it MUST NOT contain any spaces. It MUST be lowercase. It SHOULD be less than 20 characters in length.
+
+### Modifying Existing Templates
+
+To modify an existing template, first make sure that you are familiar with its workings. Ideally, you should be using the template yourself, since most changes SHOULD be rather bug fixes than actual visual changes.
+
+Then, implement your changes to the template files. Afterwards you MUST follow these steps:
+
+1. Add your name to the `authors.contributors` key in the `index.yml` file, if you aren't already an author in there. Create the key if necessary.
+2. Update the `updated` timestamp in the `index.yml` file.
+3. If necessary/applicable, update `description` and `instructions` in the `index.yml` file.
+4. If your change introduced a visual change, we RECOMMEND you update the `preview.png` file.
+5. You MUST increment the `version` field in `index.yml` by one.
+6. We RECOMMEND you add at least one new entry to the `changelog` key in the `index.yml` file. Create the key if necessary. You MUST include one individual entry for every field you changed in the `defaults.yml` file.
+
+## Guidelines for Template Files
+
+### The `index.yml` file
+
+Fill this file according to the technical specification in the README file.
+
+The `name` property MUST contain the official name of the layout (e.g., the journal name for a template using the journal's official layout). It MUST NOT be a duplicate of an existing name in this repository.
+
+The `description` MUST be precise in explaining to users what they can and cannot do with this template. You MUST use full sentences. Do not use bullet points. However, keep the description as short and concise as possible.
+
+The optional `instructions` property MAY be used to indicate to users any additional steps they need to follow before they can use the template. We RECOMMEND to enumerate the specific LaTeX packages they will need, and indicate any other additional software they may need to install on their computers in this property.
+
+The `authors` MUST correctly reflect the authorship of layout and template. If you found a template online, you MUST accredit the original author. If you yourself designed the template from scratch, "original" and "templater" are the same person.
+
+The `copyright` MUST under all circumstances be precise. If you cannot find a correct copyright for the template, you SHALL NOT propose its inclusion in this repository.
+
+The `changelog` key MUST implement the following guidelines. It MUST be a list of changes implemented since version 1. It MUST contain one entry each per version. More specifically, for every change to the accompanying defaults file, it MUST indicate what you changed, and how. For example, if you changed the `reader` property of the defaults file from `markdown` to `markdown+mark`, you SHOULD write a changelog entry like the following: "Changed the `reader` property in the defaults file from `markdown` to `markdown+mark`." A changelog entry MUST end with a period (`.`). We RECOMMEND you create multiple changelog entries if you did multiple changes, so that the individual bullet points are shorter.
+
+### The `preview.png` file
+
+The `preview.png` file should serve as a quick visual indicator for how the template looks once you export a file with it. For conference or journal templates, you may be able to provide their logo instead. Make sure the copyright allows this.
+
+The image MUST be in landscape orientation and be exactly 600x480px in resolution. It MUST be below 1MB in file size. While especially PDF templates usually result in portrait orientation pages, landscape is more common on the internet, and as such we default to landscape images. You MAY use this to your advantage to include multiple pages in the preview image.
+
+The image MUST NOT contain personal or private information, or reveal any specific information that has nothing to do with the template itself. It MAY contain actual published text, such as a paper.
+
+### The `defaults.yml` file
+
+The `defaults.yml` file is a Pandoc defaults file that contains instructions for Pandoc that allow it to render your template appropriately. It SHOULD be crafted in such a way that the user does not have to change it in order to properly export files.
+
+The file MUST feature a `reader` and `writer` property which can be parsed to indicate to the user how the template is intended to be used. The `reader` SHOULD be `markdown` and MAY include any Pandoc extensions. You can use a different reader, though, where applicable.
+
+The file MUST NOT contain any input or output file specification. This MUST be provided by the user.
+
+The file MUST contain the `template` directive relative to the template file. That is, usually, it should be `template: template.tex` (for a LaTeX template).
+
+The file SHOULD NOT contain more than the absolute minimum of other fields as needed for proper output.
+
+All changes made to this file after the fact MUST BE documented in the `changelog` field of the `index.yml` file.

+

+Welcome to Zettlr's Pandoc Template Repository. This repository hosts a variety of Pandoc-compatible templates that you can use to transform your Markdown files ready for various conferences, journals, or just for your own pleasure.
+
+This repository aims to grow over time based on user-contributions. Each folder contains all necessary files for one template, including a metadata file with some information.
+
+Each template folder contains at least four required files: A `preview.png` to see what the template looks like in action, an `index.yml` that describes the template, a `defaults.yml` that defines how Pandoc should export files using the template, and a template file itself, which varies depending on the target format (e.g., HTML, PDF, or DOCX).
+
+## Usage
+
+To use these templates, you have two options. The first is to use [Zettlr](https://www.zettlr.com/), which parses the metadata file from this repository automatically, and allows you to install these templates with a beautiful, graphical user interface.
+
+You can also browse these templates from the Zettlr template browser. (TODO)

+However, in line with our approach to keep everything fully open, we made sure that these templates work with Pandoc as-is, which means that you do not have to use Zettlr or any specific app to download and use these templates. You can download and use individual templates yourself, using Pandoc directly, or any other app that uses Pandoc under the hood, such as RMarkdown or Quarto. However, please note that, depending on your exact setup, some changes may be required.

+To use the templates "bare metal," you can try the following. First, download the entire template folder which you want to use (e.g., `cup-journal`) to your computer. Then, with a Markdown document ready at hand, you can run the following code:

+## Contribute
+
+This repository depends on user contributions, which are described in our [contribution guide](./CONTRIBUTING.md). Please refer to the section on repository structure below to learn how to add or modify templates from a technical perspective. To add a contribution, please follow these steps:

+2. Implement your changes or add your template
+3. Test your changes (i.e., run an export and verify that it works)
+4. Create or adapt the `index.yml` file
+5. Commit your changes

+Once you have opened a pull request, it will be reviewed by trusted contributors, who may instruct you to implement certain changes. Once your PR passes, it will be merged.

+## Repository Structure
+
+This section introduces the repository structure. Whenever you add or remove files, or modify a `index.yml` file, ensure that the structure remains valid. Several automated workflows continuously monitor all PRs and verify that none harms the consistency of the file structure.
+
+### File: `metadata.json`
+
+The metadata file serves as a machine-maintained and machine-readable entry point into the repository. Do not modify or touch this file under any circumstances. Zettlr (and, potentially other apps who digest this file) require that the file retains its structure at all times. You may inspect the file. It consists of a large array with one metadata chunk for each template folder. Essentially, each entry corresponds to the same format as the `index.yml` file, with a few changes:
+
+* Each entry has an `id` property equal to its folder name.
+* The preview image will be an absolute URL to the image on the repository.
+* The object contains `reader` and `writer` properties, indicating from which format Pandoc can convert it into which other format.
+
+### Individual Folder Structure / API Schema
+
+Each individual folder must contain four files at minimum:
+
+* A `index.yml` file, which serves as the entry point for an individual template, and allows apps to digest this repository.
+* A `preview.png` file, which is a 600x480px preview image for this template.
+* The `template.xyz` file (where `xyz` is the proper filename extension, such as `.tex` or `.htm`). Note that reference docs (as used by Pandoc) are also called "template" for consistency reasons.
+* A `defaults.yml` file, which contains directives for Pandoc to export a file using the template successfully.
+
+All other files in the folder are deemed required files for the template. You can add as many or few that you want, and in principle there are no strict naming restrictions (aside that they should not contain spaces, and only stick to the 26 English alphabet characters, and digits).

+### `index.yml`
+
+Each template metadata file requires a set of fields. Below is one example of such a index.yml file:

+#### `name` (required)
+
+This must be a descriptive name for the template.
+
+#### `version` (required)
+
+The version number. This is simply an integer. This field must be initiated with `1` for a new template. Each change – even if it is just a single character – must result in an increase of this number. "Change" is defined as a single PR, so you can make multiple changes to a template, and only increment the version once.
+
+#### `description` (required)
+
+Describe what this template is, what it aims for, or anything else that is important to know before choosing to use this template. Markdown is supported. Do not include a description of the variables supported by this template, or any setup instructions here. See below.
+
+#### `instructions` (optional)
+
+An optional field with specific instructions for using this template, e.g., for setup. Use this also to, e.g., describe to your users which frontmatter variables your template supports (or which it doesn't).
+
+#### `changelog` (optional/required)
+
+The `changelog` field is optional for version 1, but mandatory for every version afterwards. It is a list of entries, ordered chronologically descending. That is, if you add a changelog entry to an existing template, it must be the first entry. (This makes it easier for users to parse changelogs, as they can be sure the first entry is the most recent change.) You can use Markdown in it, but each item should be short and concise. Use this property in particular to denote changes to the defaults file.

+#### `authors` (required)
+
+Tell users who created the template originally, and who adapted the template to use with Pandoc (may contain the same information if you, e.g., created the template from scratch). If you are a contributor, add your name there, too.
+
+* `authors.original`: The name of the original author of the layout
+* `authors.templater`: The name of the person who converted this layout into a Pandoc-compatible template
+* `authors.contributors`: A list of names of any additional contributors
+
+The fields can be a simple string (implies that this is just the name). You can also be more explicit and use `name: The name`. You must use the property-format if you also want to add an `email` and a `website` (optional).
+
+#### `copyright` (required)
+
+Use this field to tell people the copyright of the template file(s). Ideally, should be a permissive license, but this can also be some form of "all rights reserved" (usually for templates from organizations, e.g., journals).
+
+#### `license` (optional)
+
+If the work has been licensed, include information about it here.
+
+### `defaults.yml`
+
+This is a Pandoc-compatible defaults file. It is required so that users can start using the template with zero setup (except downloading the template). Use this file to do three things:
+
+1. Tell Pandoc where the main entry file for the template is (usually something like `template.tex`).
+2. Tell Pandoc the supported `reader` and `writer`, as well as potential extensions (e.g., `+mark`).
+3. Add any other information Pandoc needs to successfully produce output (e.g., `shift-heading-level-by: 1` if the template should only use headings level 2 and below).
+
+A minimal example of a `defaults.yml` file for a LaTeX template would be:
+

+### `preview.png`
+
